Daily Miracles
This morning, when I stepped out on the deck, I heard a squirrel noise, and I looked up to try to see her. Instead, I saw this little oak leaf fluttering gracefully down from the sky. I reached out, and it landed in my palm. It had been released from our big valley oak that is rooted about 25 feet from the deck. In order for that leaf to land in my hand, a perfect puff of breeze lifted it away from the mother tree in the perfect direction, it had to flutter perfectly through the leaves and branches of a huge live oak whose branches spread over the deck, and that squirrel had to make a noise at exactly the perfect moment for me to look up, reach out my hand and receive the blessing.
